What Casues Low Blood Pressure?

My last two or three Blood Pressure tests (using my left arm) Indicate a very low BPM - 47-50 I do suffer from Type II Diabetes and indications of Heart disease - including two stents in arteries of the Heart. I have read that the Metaprolol that I take can slow the BPM.. I can t contact my Heart Doctor until Monday. What is your advice?

Hello,

I suggest you rush to the nearest Emergency Room as soon as possible because this could be two possibilities -
1. Silent myocardial infarction.
2. Inferior wall myocardial infarction.

Both are possibilities here because of your long standing diabetes and you presently having low blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
I find this answer helpful
