What Casues Nausea And Vomiting After Using A Boric Acid Suppository?

I used a boric acid suppository 2 nights ago I had salad and red wine for supper. I used a boric acid suppository that night. I woke up the following morning sick to my stomach. could not keep anything down. no fever, or aches as you would get with flu. just sick to my stomach. still sick to my stomach the next day also. is it a side effect of the boric acid? I have used these off and on for a couple years as needed with no problem

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read your query and I understand your concern. This is not a normal side effect of boric acid. Maybe you had a cut open or a wound at the insertion site. Don't use it if you have a wound or cut open.

Hope my answer was helpful. If yes, vote helpful.

Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
