What Casues Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Hips?

I was diagnosed 25 years ago with RLS. Treatments (Requip,etc) do not work well and the symptoms continue every night and sometimes into the day. I have doubts that I have RLS and feel something in my hips is triggering the sensation, but my MD discounts it as does my neurologist. Is there something other than RLS that can be triggered through the hips/nerves in the hips? Seems more than coincidental that the longer I sit each day, the more my hips begin to ach, then the tingling sensations begins-all night. I average less than 2 hours of sleep, for the past 25 years, some nights none at all. yes, it is possible. and miserable.

Hello,

Restless leg syndrome may won't cause tingling sensation in the hips. This may be neuropathic pain in the hips caused by nerve root compression or it may be due to hip arthritis or meralgia parasyetica.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. use tablet pregabalin 75 mg once daily for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
