Hello,
Possibilities include an allergic reaction to egg or ingredients in the bologna. Egg allergies are quite common. Preservatives and nitrates are possibilities. Sllergies can develop at any time. You could consider allergy testing. Take some Benadryl or other antiinfl medication such as Tylenol or Advil. Rinse with warm salt water and gently clean your tongue.
You may, by coincidence, have developed an oral yeast infection. This requires antifungal medication. Nystatin is commonly prescribed. A white coating on the tongue with red and soreness are common symptoms. Visit your dentist for an exam and diagnosis.
Thank you for your inquiry.
