What Cause Delusion And Slight Swelling In The Brain?

22 yr old male with frontal head trauma 9 days ago is experiencing delusions and increased thirst. He slept all day Saturday and was unresponsive but CT scan showed slight swelling of the brain. He's scheduled for reconstruction of sinuses and forehead tomorrow?

Frontal head trauma can cause swelling in the brain that can persist for the first 14 days or so.

Generally swelling will improve after that point, and hopefully his responsiveness will improve as well.
