My husband is a heart patient, has had bypass surgery and recently got a defibrillator. His prescriptions include livalo, losartan, and metaprolol. He is experiencing diarrhea constantly and within an hour of eating he is back in the bathroom. His stomach feels raw. He has a feeling of trapped burps, when he does try to burp it results in throwing up. He dreads taking the livalo because he feels lick this is the problem. His doctor wants to keep his cholesterol way down. Is that what is causing his gastro problems?
