What Cause Dizziness, Insomnia And Weakness After Excessive Alcohol Intake?

I no longer drink or anything regarding nicotine or any of the ine s. I ve never done illegal drugs of any kind and ine s includes smoking gone. I about drank myself to death and ended up out cold in a hospital in Nashville for several days. I m 42 and eat all day now, dizzy badly, weak as heck, sleep deprivation unfortunately. Huge life issues custody-wise. Please help. I am afraid I m done. The irony is that I don t care as long as the two kids are okay.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It would be best to be seen, not just for the physical issues but also for the psychological because they can affect each other.

The eating constantly, not caring and sleep deprivation may be due to anxiety or depression and these have a physical impact.

Your GP can assess you and refer you to someone who may be able to help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
