I am a 51 year old male. I have been having these skiped heartbeats on and off for about five years now. Most of the time I notice these after mowing grass or other types of exercise when imat rest. what causes this.could this be anxiety about being tired and having a rapid pulse.Have had ekg and wore a holter monitor. nothing found.this is making me afraid to do any kind of work.

Condition needs to be confirmed clinically EKG is the only option that confirmed the abnormal heartbeat, looking to history given here it seems to be the anxiety only because any heart disease particularly rhythm related cannot long last up to five years without treatment and it could come out with very bad and serious consequences. If the symptoms not being confirmed then it is advisable to get it confirmed get done the EKG
