What Cause High Fever Along With Body Ache And Fatigue?

Hi. I had a cold virus a couple of weeks ago which laid me up for 4 days and left me with a post nasal drip. I have now had a high fever for 4 days with no signs of easing and whilst the post nasal drip cough has gotten worse, the main symptoms are fatigue, body aches and urine which smells more strongly and a bit like sweet asparagus. I had Mono in 2015 (which caused hepatitis) and am wondering if this could be an EBV flare up. Could the urine smell be caused by bilirubin? Thanks.

Hello,

You may be suffering from one more episode of viral fever with rhinitis with Post nasal discharge. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Urine odor can also be affected by many foods, medications, and vitamin supplements.

Low fluid intake or ketonuria may give smell like that semen in fever with fasting. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
