Dear HCM user

It seems you are hypersalivating at night. Its a normal phenomenon in a lot of people who wake up with their pillows wet. You need not worry about it if its less or subsides in some time. It may be due to overproduction of saliva like in cases of mouth ulcers, gastric reflux, oral infections, nutrional deficiency or due to reduced clearance of saliva in mouth due to infections like tonsillitis, jaw problems, nervous system problems like facial paralysis. Since you do not seem to be having any of these there is no cause of concern. Some medicines can also cause such side effects like antipsychotics. I hope you are not on any long term medication. If its distressing to you then some medications can be given like anticholinergics that dry the mouth. Also before sleeping do brush your teeth and do mouthwash. Hope your problem improves in time.
