What Cause Nausea And Ringing In The Ear After Injury?

I was rushing and hit my knee against a chair really hard. I fell to floor whimpering for a couple of a minutes then had a wave of nausea, followed by deafning ringing in my ears. I can walk on it, but hurts with waves nausea. This just happened half an hour ago. Should I R.I.C.E. It? I was barefooted soo my feet are cold.
