I feel pressure in my left ear and cannot get it to 'pop' for several months. Dr. examined my ear, said " eardrum is glassy' and is sending me for a hearing test and maybe later to an ENT for some reason. Did not explain any of this and was in a hurry(after hours clinic)
Hi, thanks for the query. In my opinion , Eustachian tube blockage due cold or sore throat recently which lead to pressure in ear. Start Steam Inhalation , Decongestant nasal drops , Antihistaminic levocetirizine . Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential. Hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
