from middle of foot back to heel is sore. Ijumped off back of a truck. it is very painful when getting up first thing in morning, or if I sit for a while and get up it is painful also. after I walk for a bit the pain is not as bad. Moving foot up and down causes minor pain.
Based on your description, it appears that you could have sprained the plantar ligament. Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Take analgesic medications.
2. Apply analgesic gel to the affected area at bedtime.
3. Immerse your feet in warm water for 10 minutes twice daily.
4. Use heel guard silicon gel pads when you wear shoes.
Gradually, you should be able to recover from pain and be back to normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
