Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had severe charley horses up and down my left leg and butt! 24-7 for 3 days in a row. I thought I was severely dehydrated so I took all the steps for that. The symptoms didn t get better and I started really feeling it in my lower back. I went to the chiropractor and had an x ray and it turned out that my L5 disc was compressed. My leg cramps continued for 5 days but now are much better along with my back. BUT, about 4 days into the non stop cramping, I started to get horrible blisters on my left leg that almost look like they are filled with blood because they are so dark. A friend told me it was because my nerve endings were constantly firing. Is this true?
Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly. Probably it relates to Herpes Zoster with neuritic component giving rise to these much agonising issues. Recommendations for you - keep the blisters clean , dry - take analgesic morning & evening after meals - dusting powder as Clotrimazole (1%) help - avoid exposure to excess heat - maintain hydration with plenty of liquids - consult expert skin specialist to evaluate the case & manage accordingly . Hope this clears your query. Thanks for using HCM Regards dear .
