What Caused A Swelling In My Calf?

Hi, I have just noticed a large (about the sive of my hand) swelling on the inside of my left leg close to my calf.I think the rest of the leg is slighty swollen.For about 3 years I have had a small lump behind my knee on my left leg.The swelling is not painfull, not red or hot.I have not recently injured it iether.

1. Deep vein thrombosis
2. Bursitis
3. A local abscess

Answer following:
1. Any redness or swelling over the local part?
2. Any pain in movement?
3. Any fever associated?
4. Any history of breathlessness?
5. Any history of diabetes?
