What Caused Bleeding Through The Throat When There Is Pain In Left Ear?
I ve had what feels like a mild ear infection on my left side, and it s caused some pain on that side of my throat as well. Tonight. I began bleeding from that side of my throat. After about 10 minutes, it stopped and I was able to take a look. It appears there is a dark bloody blob on that part of my throat and it s right under where the pain in my ear is. Could it just be a broken blood vessel? Or could it be something more serious, or possible related to a sinus infection?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bleeding through the throat when there is pain in left ear which could be injury to ear drum, eustachian tube dysfunction, accumulation of ear wax and due to systemic disease. If you have breathing difficulty , difficulty in speaking , bleeding and severe pain in throat and ear then consult ENT specialist without any delay . Doctor may order CT scan, MRI , X-ray and examination with otoscope and laryngoscope to rule out any serious damage to trachea and other vital structure . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti inflammatory and may perform surgical procedure like tonsillectomy. Sometimes bleeding from throat can also occur due to acid reflux , so consult gastroenterologist for this and eat light and non spicy specially at night .
