What Caused Red Colored Rash On Back, Arms And Neck While On Zonisamide?

My 24 year old daughter has epilepy and is on Zonisimede(sp). Yesterday she became flushed at work, turned beet red and had a lacy rash from her back up arms and onto her neck. By the time she saw her internist a few hours later the rash was gone. Internist didn t really have an answer as she never saw the rash. Any ideas?

Drug induced Urticaria from Zonisamide.
I would suggest you to stop Zonisamide.Instead Take Toperamate / Gabapentine instead,with script from your treating doctor .
