CT scan and MRI scan were clear. bp still reading 155/101. medication now amildolpine 10mg and ramipril 5mgs. could there be any underlying cause for my bp being so high still
Sometimes deranged renal function can also lead to high blood pressure so it is advisable that you get your kidney function tests done.
You should continue with the antihypertensive s you have been prescribed as it takes time for the body to adjust to a medication and to reach its full efficacy.
Get your blood pressure checked at regular intervals and if your blood pressure does not reach normal limits within a few weeks you should consult your physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman,
