Neurologist 's  Response
I am a neurologist and am aware of the VA system and how it operates to some extent when it comes to Compensation and Pension claims of this nature. You will need to contact your DAV representative to open a new claim for your brain tumor. If you were advised by a doctor outside the VA system that your tumor is likely to have been caused from the radiation exposure in Nagasaki then, they will require the documentation from that person. If the person who told you this is a VA doctor then, the information will be in the records of the VA and you should simply proceed through the normal channels of C&P claims to reopen your case. Good luck.

Should you wish any assistance having to do with the brain tumor itself I am a Neurologist and invite you to contact me through:

Best of luck to you in this holiday season and the future.
