I Was Born With Myelomeningocele, Having Hydrocephalus, Chiari Malformation & Urological Problems, The Whole 9 Yards , Now, 2 Things , Reading About Chiari I Believe With My Problems I Have Chiari 2 ,My PCP THINKS I Have Chiari 1, Who Is Right? 2) Hydrocephalus, Chiari & Dementia , Ive Been Reading Alot About It & I Believe It Is Saying I Have a Certain Type Of Dementia Because I Forget 1 Minute To The Next A Lot Of Times, Can You Help To Give Me Answers On These 2 Statements?

1. After reading your description I think you are right, you do seem to have Type 2 Chiari malformation as you also have myelomeningocele. 2. This is a bit complicated, because forgetting sometimes a few things is not very specific complaint and is very common with almost everyone. Dementia can be suspected if you tend to forget name of your friends or relatives or inability to remember very common words, behavioral and psychological changes, frequent disorientation and many other.
