My child (2.5 yrs) has been diagnosed as Herpes on her eye lid. We started using acivir 200 DT from the last two days but still the blisters on her eye lid is not coming down. I am just worried if the medicine is working for her. BecoZ, I am worried if it spreads.. can anyone plz help me with Ur valuable suggestion ?
thanks for writing I understand your concern the child is having blepharitis caused by herpes virus, usually this type of infection occurs during age 30 to 40 years continue using acivir 200 it usually takes 1 to 3 weeks to subside without any residual effect, good thing is that important inner part of the eye like cornea are not involved. yes, it may spread but antiviral medicine acivir will help.
hope this was useful do let me know if you have any other queries hope she gets well soon.
