What Causes IBS Along With Red Tissue Like Discharge During Urination?

Hello, I am 45yrs old and have been experiencing symptoms of IBS and have been correcting it with a very strict diet. I have been feeling so much better now however, when urinating Im getting small specks of rusty color blood and stringy skin tissues coming out. Ive never had this before but I am getting ready to start my women s cycle. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

It is possible, since your menstruation is about to occur, that the change in color of the urine and the stringing mucus discharge. If the symptoms continue after the resolution of your period, then you can be assessed.
