What Causes UTI While On Antibiotics For Cellulitis?

My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic for cellulitis today and later on today I started having symtoms of a urinary tract infection. I am having a terrible urge to urinate and it burns afterwards. Also, I have the chills. I am worried the bacteria has spread throughout my body. Should I go to the ER?

Hello Dear. UTI may not be due to antibiotics. Kindly get your urine tested. If there is UTI detected in urine, the doctor will put you on a course of urinary antibiotics like tab norflox twice a day for 5 days or 7 days and syrup citralka or alkasol. Drink lots of water and one tender coconut in a day. You will be fine.
