What Causes Wet Coughing, Throat Infection,and Running Nose?
Sir, I have suffered three attacks of Wet Coughing, Throat Infection, Running Nose without Fever. Doctor advised me Ebast M after +ve allergy blood test. Last time I was prescribed Azithrol 550 for 3-5 days and after that Augmentin. I am again suffering from same..What to take? Will I be resistent to Azithromycin in Future?

As per your query you have Wet Coughing, Throat Infection,and Running Nose .Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like strep throat , viral pharyngitis , acid reflux and allergic rhinitis . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms can be either due to allergic rhinitis or viral infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and blood test . Sometimes doctor order CT scan . Doctor may prescribe anti viral drugs ( acyclovir ) at least for 10 days along with decongestant , expectorant and anti histamine . For now do warm saline gargles and take steam to relieve congestion .
