What Causes A Altered Sense Of Smell After Smoking Crystal Methamphetamine?

I get a funny smell inside of my nose sometimes hours after crystal method usage... I can not really describe the smell... Any idea what could have caused this? I have heard about many of the systems I ve gotten after using method but I can not find anything on this funky smell that seems to come from inside of my nostrils...

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of an altered sense of smell which could be due to nerve dysfunction i.e. Glossopharyngeal and could be due to side effects. Sometimes it could be due to oral infection as well.

I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene and use oral corticosteroids as well because if it's due to any allergy it will resume senses back.

You should take proper antibiotic an and anti-inflammatory medication course. Drink plenty of water. You should visit neurologist once as well and take medications which lower down autoimmune or nervous system disorder if it is due to nerve dysfunction.
