hi im an 18 year old girl i recently noticed a balled spot the size of a quarter on the side of my head when i lift my hair up iv never noticed it before it has a little red blood scab ! i did get in a little play fight and my hair got pulled could my hair have riped out ? am i going bald ? i have very thick hair

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like genetic factor , fungal infection and hormonal changes. Need not to worry. Take Indian goose berry powder with water once a day and use olive for massage. Keep your scalp dry. I would suggest you to consult trichologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray .Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for hormonal changes .
