What Causes A Blood Filled Blister Post Wisdom Tooth Extraction?
I just got my wisdom tooth extracted. It was infected so they prescribed me some antibiotics. After an hour when I got home I spit the gauze I had in my mouth out and was feeling tired so I laid down. When I woke up I blood on my lips and mouth so I took a look inside my mouth and seen what looked like a blood bubble or something that was the size of my tooth. Is this something to worry about?
As per your complain a little blood in the saliva after few hours of extraction is normal and you need not to worry until the bleeding is profuse.. In case of profuse bleeding you should consult your dentist.
The blood bubble that you are observing in your extraction socket is nothing to be worried as it is a blood clot that is formed after extraction and rather it is a good sign as the blood clot that is formed into the socket is must needed as it acts as a medium through which the healing process starts..
You should not worry at all and follow the medication and instructions given to you by your dentist for a better and faster healing..
Hope your query is solved..
