Just got news after having a ma and cat scan, unfortunately they say that I have a brain aneurysm . Have a referral to see a surgeon tomorrow what are mye chances ? I have had heart attack ,open heart surgery, a stroke I am 62 yrs old . I have dbl vis. , blind spots o I forgot now I have lupus .
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Yoi are having systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE). SLE is connective tissue disease. It causes auto immune inflammation in arteries. This inflammation can cause weakening of arterial walls and this can cause dilatation which are known as aneurysm. Brain vessels are more commonly involved by lupus. So your brain aneurysm is mostly due to lupus. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
