What Causes A Bruise On The Inner Elbow Joint?

I have recently, within 3 days, came back from Aruba whilst on vacation for 10 days. I have a bruise, the size of a pea, on the inner elbow joints of my arms. The first one appeared during our flight back, the second, the day after. I was wearing a heavy backpack and am on blood thinners from an MI (heart attack) 9 years ago. I just thought it was odd and would like to know what to do with said issue. They are returning back to normal and have decreased in color. Thoughts please?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

So as you told you are on blood thinners, a trivial trauma can lead to easy bruising. Please get your coagulation test done. Besides that, there is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
