What Causes A Bruise On The Thigh After A Car Accident?

I was in a car accident three days ago. I got a really bad bruise on my outer left thigh from hitting the door of my car. It has a bump and dark blue bruise. It is sore. I am flying tomorrow on a 3.5 hour flight. I was wondering if it is safe for me to fly? Should I go to the doctor ?

it is due to accidental injury you faced recently. it will take time to subside. if you have a swelling and you feel difficulty to move your thigh then go to the physician .then he will suggest whether you need a X-ray of that region or not.otherwise there is no reason to be worried.
