What Causes A Bruise On The Toe After A Big Sting?

I got stung by a honey bee on the bottom of my second to yesterday, not allergic thankfully. I removed the stinger right away and cleaned with alcohol, a little swelling but it felt like I dropped something very heavy on the top of my toe. The bottom is fine and the swelling is gone, but now there is a bruise on the top of my toe. I m wondering, is that normal?

dear user.....

.sting usually followed by allergic or immune reaction that cause swelling or inflammation or bruise of the affected area ...........but from your words you did amistake when you apply alcohol to affected toe.............we recommend only ice packs...it will make improvement............alcohol generally is very irritant and not recommended in case of sting injury............alcohol cause more reaction of the tissue and cause bruise so it was good that you have no swelling when injured but mostly alcohol cause that bruise............wish you ahealthy life...take care of your self
