Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently discovered this bump on my side basically like an inch below my hip bone. It seems to be getting a little bit bigger, but not that noticeable. It doesnt hurt at all and its squishy when I touch it but it hasn t seem to go down. I m scared of what it could be. Any help?
We have to rule out possible causes like a lipoma or another benign cyst. Consult a physician and get evaluated. An MRI scan may be required to make a diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
