What Causes A Bump In And Around Vagina Despite Taking Hydrocortisone?

I have a bump in between my vagina and anus as well as one on the tip of my clitoris. They are sore to the touch. I first noticed them on the first day of my period. Will this go away? What over the counter meds will help? I have been using witch hazel to cleanse and hydrocortisone to ease the soreness?

Hi.
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Bumps in & around your private parts could be due to minor infectious conditions like Bartholin's cyst, Fordyce spots, genital herpes or warts or any allergic reaction to cosmetics used.

I advice you to,
- 5days course of Antibiotics if itching occurs or it is trouble some.
- Daily Sitz bath
- Analgesics( Ibuprofen ) for pain
- Avoid using tampons as it may aggrevate the load of bumps.
- wear cotton innerwear & Maintain good hygiene.
