What Causes A Bump On The Forehead With Persistent Associated Pain?

I have about a half inch bump under my skin on the top of my head. I originally noticed it about 6 months ago and now have noticed that it is getting bigger. It is also more sensitive to the touch with pain associated. If I bend over without touching it the pain also increases. Any ideas what this could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
You can go for an ultrasound to make a diagnosis.
If there is diagnostic confusion, an MRI may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
