What Causes A Child To Pick On The Anus And Eat Feces?
My 8 year old grandson, who I have adopted so now is my son... picks his anus and eats his own feces. We are waiting to have him tested. I believe he may have aspergers. This is not the first time, but it has been awhile. Is this something children do when they have autism or childhood trauma? What can be the cause and how do I deal with it?

I suggest you to get your child examined by a pediatrician.
Picking up of anus could be just a habit and not as serious as Asperger's syndrome or autism.
