What Causes A Collapsed Aorta After Weight Loss?

I am trying to remember what the diagnosis for my son was in 2014. He was in high school and a wrestler. He was cutting weight and cut so much that I believe the muscle that holds up the aorta collapsed and caused the flow out of the stomach to stop and his stomach was very distended and he could not keep anything down...fluids. The doctor that saw him at first thought he was an older person as this is common in older people who do not eat but then he saw that he was young and a wrestler and said that this happens to that group of people also. I cannot remember the name of the diagnosis.
