What Causes A Convulsion Followed By Vomiting?

My sister in law was found on the floor of her storage room, convulsing and laying in her own vomit. She is a very healthy women in nursing school. What are the possibilities that may have caused this? I m not there in Florida but what I m told I d she is incoherent perhaps in an enduced coma but not sure.

Thank you for your question on convulsions
Convulsions mainly Originate from the brain, though there are other causes.
vomiting has many causes and brain lesions can cause vomiting especially morning projectile type of vomiting.
Electrolyte imbalance which common in vomiting can also cause convulsiob
The way forward is to
Do Ct scan of head to rule out space occupiying lesion in the brain
UECs for kidney fictions
H pylori to rule out stomach under and gastritis
Full haemogram for any infection
Urinalysis
Stool ova and cyst and Occult blood
Treatment
Depends on the out come
Antirmentic drugs Placil/ multivitamins/
Need yo consult gastroenterologist and Neurologist.
