What Causes A Delayed Period, Weight Gain And Spotting After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hey, i had sex on the 21st march, it was unprotected, he pulled out before he came, hes been circumcised too, im a few days late on my period, im worried i could be pregnant!!! I think ive put on weight, but this could be my periods because i always feel fat when im about to come on! I also have a few spots that have come up which also usually happens when im about to come on my period!! I took a paracetamol overdose at the start of march i had 24 tablets and was in hospital for one and a half days before i was discharged from the hospital! could this affect my period???

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you might be aware that withdrawal method is the most unsafe method of contraception .
Pre ejaculation secretions can get deposited in the vagina without any symptoms and even in absence of ejaculation.
Pre ejaculation secretions do contain sperms enough to cause pregnancy.

3 ) I will suggest you to wait for your expected date of the cycle . If you happen to cross your dates, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG HCG test and USG will be of help. .

4 ) Please get proper sex counselling done. Use of suitable contraceptive method like condom, will help you to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
