What Causes A Dime Sized Bald Spot On Head?

In October, I grew my hair longer than the buzz cut I ve had for years. In January, I decided to buzz cut my hair again. Then I noticed a small area the size of a dime on the back right side of my head with no hair. I thought that my clippers had cut that spot a little too close but the hair has not grown back. What could have caused this and how can I get the hair to regrow in this small spot. I do not have any balding so I thought this was very unusual.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dime sized bald spot on head . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like genetic factor , fungal infection and hormonal changes. Need not to worry. Take Indian goose berry powder with water once a day and use olive for massage. Keep your scalp dry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray which also should be use for atleast for 2 months . Doctor may also prescribe supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 and Vitamin E . Doctor may also recommend hair transplant with HUE technique.
