What Causes A Dizziness Episode Suddenly At Night?

I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and the next thing I knew I was falling down on the bathroom floor and then experiencing dizziness/spinning. I did not lose consciousness and was able to get back into bed just fine and feel fine today.

If you got up quickly from lying down or even sitting it could be condition known as postural hypotension. If problem persist visit your doctor for a evaluation to find a possible cause. Also if you are taking any treatment, it could be a side effect
