What Causes A Fainting Episode While Treating Flu And Weakness?

My 78 elderly mum fainted on the toilet for about 1 minute. She has had flu for 5 days and is terribly weak. Dr did a house call yesterday and said she is dehydrated. Blood pressure and pulse good. Also fainted yesterday. After fainting she had no speech problems or one sided weakness. Just generally weak all over. Could this be a TIA?

She fainted most probably due to hypotension. It doesn't seem to be transient ischemic attack. Consult your physician for hypotension (low blood pressure) and dehydration.
