What Causes A False Positive Pregnancy Test Result?
My girl took two pregnancy test three days apart both came faint positive, about 2 two three days after she had light bleeding with bloodclots, thinking it s just implantation bleeding it lasted 8 days then 2 weeks after she went to the doctor took a pregnancy test and wasn t pregnant the doctor said she have a hormone imbalance and she was never pregnant, my thing is why she got positive results and no evidence of a miscarriage?

False +ve pregnancy test is possible when-
- There is contamination of urine sample (urine infection/ poor genital hygiene,white discharge.
-contaminated container in which urinr is collected
-It is a chemicak prwgnancy without formation of èmbryo (blighted ovum)
-upto few days after abortion.
