I was just diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease grade 3 but I don t have any of the typical symptoms that go along with any of the causes I do have chronic EBV and I am obese but I am not diabetic or suffer from high blood pressure and my enzymes just continue to increase I don t know what to do
Common causes of fatty liver include: obesity, hyperlipidemia, or high levels of fats in the blood, diabetes, genetic inheritance, rapid weight loss, or side effect of certain medications, including aspirin, steroids, tamoxifen, and tetracycline. In your case, obesity might be the primary cause of having fatty liver.
