The other night I seemed to have a tickle in my throat that I just couldn t get rid of. I was coughing and gagging quite a bit w/ no relief. I was in public so I was nervous & sweating. When I was home I felt very strange. I still had the tickle. It felt like indegestion as well. Then I had diareah and a heaviness in my chest. I thought I was having a heart attack & I was very anxious. After a few hours I was able to calm down & sleep. Since that evening (Sat night), I have a feeling like a lump in my throat. I can breathe & swallow but it feels like my shirt is too tight around my neck. Could this been heart burn related? I am also concerned because I had a thyroid biopsy in December as one of my thryroid was 2 cm in size vs. 1 cm in size. It was biopsied and everything was fine. I have a follow up appt in May to see if the thryroid has changed in size. Could this lump in my throat be the thyroid?
