What Causes A Feel Of Lump, swelling And Pain During Swallowing?

Female age 44. I had a left hemityroidectomy about 12 weeks ago to remove several nodules, one of which was over 5cm. Histology came back clear but I am now having the same syptoms on the right side. I can feel a lump when I swallow and have an ache in the top of my chest after swallowing. It feels like sometimes food is also getting stuck in my throat. Is it possible nodules are forming this quickly after surgery on the right side?

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear just observe your remaining part of thyroid which may give pain, lump sensation. Some times GERD (gastro esophageal reflex disease), esophageal spasm, esophgitis and myasthenia may present like this. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions please feel free to ask.
