What Causes A Feeling Of Dilation In My Pupils?

Last week while driving I suddenly felt disoriented and like my pupils had been dilated, intense brightness caused me to need dark glasses to see anything. This lasted about an hour and then I was very tired, even the following day. This has occurred before but to a much lesser degree.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The fact that you had the feeling as if you saw an intense brightness is a sign that you will need your eyes checked to rule out retinal detachment. This is a condition that needs to be diagnosed and treated early to prevent vision loss.

I hope this is helpful and answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
