What Causes A Few Little Red Bumps On The Hands?

last night I noticed a few little red bumps on both of my hands. this morning they were tender and sore.they are not blisters and are not draining anything. by this evening there are more, about 10 on each hand.around dinner time they appeared on both feet.same red bumps and about 8 or so on each foot there are some between my toes kind of like athletes foot.they do not hurt unless you move or touch them. the pain is not great but irritating. about a3.5 out of 10 any thoughts. thanks jason

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As there are multiple blisters over different body parts with sudden onset over night, possible hypersensitivity reaction to some sort of bug bite or allergy to some toxin type material is seeming possibility. Though there is no pain, I would recommend an ER visit for prescription of steroid, antihistamine and supportive therapy for best early recovery and prevent secondary bacterial infection in it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
