What Causes A Film Over The Eyes After Working On Computers?

I have a light film over my eyes mostly after I am at work working on the computers. I work with two other ladies in the office and their eyes only seem to bother them at work also. I went to my dentist visit and he noticed my eye and was concerned because of the clear drainage. Worried about cogentivitis but said it wasn t red. I explained the lat 4 weeks eyes worse at work. I think it maybe allergic congentivitis, but on for sure. I do use lubercant eye drop for dry eyes at times. Use daily now because of film. Any suggestions? Thanks Sherry

Hi,

Excess watery discharge sometimes along with a headache, itching of eyes are the symptoms of eye strain.

I feel you need to check your eyesight for the refractory index. It is possible to have changed in eyesight number & need to wear spectacles.

When working on the computer it's essential to have at least two feet distance 20 to 40 cm) between your eye & computer.

Also, there is a need to do some neck & eye exercises while computer work & give rest to the eyes every 2 hours for eye health. Please consult an ophthalmologist for specific advice.
