What Causes A Fluttering Sensation In The Chest?
I have this flutter feeling in my chest. I am a female and 52 yrs old. It comes and goes. Sometimes in my upper abdomen I have the same feeling. I do take Nexium for GERD. I have had this sensation in the past but it always went away. I ve had this for a few days now. I was thinking it was a bad case of ingestion. Iam now concerned it could be more serious.

It is possible that it is not serious at all but it may be best to be seen by your doctor.
Fluttering the chest can sometimes be related the palpitations of the heart so an ECG would be needed to assess the rhythm of the heart
