My family doctor discover on ultrasound some free fluid in pelvic aria, he thinks its from interruption of cist because he didn’t see any cist or grooving on ultrasound just that free fluid.. I did blood and urine test and everything come back normal but I still feel some pain and burning down around pelvic and ovary area.. so I was thinking about worse and please can you help me about my case and tell me how long does take to that free fluid go away and what kind test u recommended for my to be done…
I’ll ask for CA-125, and DR-70, and cancer marker test and AMAS
welcome to Health care magic. 1.Free fluid is generally seen in PID - pelvic inflammatory disease. 2.In PID there will be collection in the POD pouch of Douglas ( pelvis region ) with altered myometrium echo texture. 3.Free fluid is also seen in case of dominant follicle rupture. 4.Free fluid in the pelvis is not a reason for CA 125, and DR-70. 5.Free fluid can be treated with a course of antibiotic will work initial - with a followup ultrasound pelvis. Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
